ERIC BEISEL: ORIGINS
Eric “Zeus” Beisel was a professional football player and former captain for the University of Missouri football team. He is now a business owner, serial entrepreneur, celebrity trainer, influencer and founder of ProformApp, a cloud-based web app for high school to pro-level athletes to maximize their training. Best known for his insane work ethic, fiery red beard and illustrious gladiator revelations, Beisel emerged as one of the most explosive (and entertaining) players in all of college football. He has been featured on STACK.com, Sports Illustrated and Pro Football Focus. Beisel was a part of the 2019 Inaugural Season for the Alliance of America Football League, playing for the Birmingham Iron, and also played one season for Team Power in the YCF, where he was named captain and lead the league in combined-tackles.

M.I.Z. - Z.E.U.S.
For the majority of his collegiate career, Beisel lead the Tigers' special teams unit with more than 60 career knockdowns (more than any other player in Division-I football). He also notched an impressive 66 Total Tackles in just five starts during his junior campaign (2nd only to Donavin Newsom who started in all 12 games) including 10 tackles for loss and 23 tackles against the University of South Carolina. With only five career starts, this would make him one of the most efficient tacklers in college football, landing him among the "Top-3 Run Stoppers" in 2016, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF). Beisel’s tenacity on the field and in the locker room helped lead first-year head coach Barry Odom’s defense to its first two SEC victories in 2016.

Prior to the 2017 season, Beisel would be asked to lead the Missouri Tigers as captain after emerging as "The Leader" of the team during off-season workouts and activities. In addition, he would hold team meetings to declare the team's mission to secure the CFP National Championship Trophy and organize senior dinners to discuss the direction of the team, including new and innovative methods to improve team chemistry and player-production. He joined Mizzou's marketing department during the summer of 2016 to help sell the sum of student-tickets in record-setting time. It became apparent that "Zeus" was willing to do anything to get his hometown Tigers back on top.
SLAYER OF AR-KANSAS
Beisel's first claim to fame came on November 25th, 2016, when he cautioned the University of Arkansas to stay home and purposely mispronounced their flagship university, “Ar-Kansas,” days before their rivalry game. The Tigers went on to upset the Razorbacks 28-24 with a second half shutout. Beisel finished the game with 15 tackles, a pass breakup, and two tackles for loss, one of those coming on a goal line stand in the fourth quarter to seal the game.
Beisel made national headlines once again during his appearance at SEC Media Days representing the University of Missouri dressed in a sleek-grey suit fit for a villain. He left fans and reporters speechless with bold statements of his team’s destiny to win a National Championship, illustrious quotes about "that team down south," and revelations of his past life as a gladiator.
ELITE COMPANY
Following his senior season, Beisel was invited to train at one of the top facilities in the nation for his NFL career, Proactive Sports Performance in Los Angeles, California, led by Former-Baltimore Ravens Strength & Conditioning Coach Ryan Capretta. During this time he trained alongside a very talented draft class including #1 overall NFL Draft pick Baker Mayfield (Cleveland Browns), 2nd round pick Derrius Guice (Washington Redskins), and 1st round pick Mike Hughes (Minnesota Vikings). Beisel's monstrous physique and unmatched work ethic lead him to be featured on STACK.com's "Path To The Pros," in 2018.
LIVING THE DREAM
Beisel's professional career kicked off when he was signed by the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of America Football League prior to the inaugural 2019 Spring Season. Coached by former NFL Assistant Coach Tim Lewis and Defensive Coordinator Rick Minter, Beisel made an immediate impact during training camp at the inside-linebacker position.
Upon his release, Beisel was immediately picked up by Team Power of the Your Call Football League where he was coached by NFL Hall-of-Famer and ESPN Analyst Merril Hoge. Beisel quickly worked his way into the starting middle-linebacker position, earning captain's honors prior to the first game of the season. In a high-pass league, Beisel dominated on defense leading both his team and the entire league in tackles with 21 Combined-Tackles, including four (4) Tackles-For-Loss and three (3) Pass-Breakups.
